OurBloc is operated by SmartLogoz, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes how the OurBloc community discovery app (ourbloc.app) collects and uses information from people who use it to discover local businesses.

1. Information We Collect

• Search queries: The text you enter in search, and community/language filters you apply.
• Location data: If you tap "Locate me," your browser requests your device location. We use this only to center the map and order results by proximity. We do not store your location persistently.
• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — collected automatically by our servers.
• Cookies and local storage: Session preferences, consent status, and cached search state. See our Cookie Policy.
• QR scan data: If you use the QR scanner, the decoded URL or business ID is processed locally on your device. We do not log individual QR scans.

2. What We Do Not Collect

OurBloc is a discovery tool for consumers. We do not require account creation to browse or search. We do not collect your name, email, or payment information unless you create a business account on SmartLogoz.com (governed by the SmartLogoz Privacy Policy).

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Maps: Powers the map display and location-based search. Google receives your IP and location when the map loads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA: Used on interactive forms to prevent bot abuse. Google processes device signals. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• SmartLogoz API: Business listing data is served from the SmartLogoz platform. Searches you perform are sent to our API; we use these queries in aggregate to improve search results.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To display relevant business listings based on your search and filters.
• To provide location-aware results when you grant location permission.
• To maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the application.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the third-party services described above, and only as necessary to deliver the platform. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Your Choices

• Location: Location access is optional. Deny it and OurBloc defaults to Atlanta. You can change browser location permissions at any time.
• Cookies: Use the consent banner to decline non-essential cookies.
